October is one of my favorite months! I know it’s sooo cliche, but I love this time of year. Everything outdoors is so beautiful as it changes and the weather is still nice enough to be outside to enjoy it!

Weddings in October have become a really popular thing the last few years for this reason! You can have an amazing outdoor wedding and the weather is comfortable and the landscape is amazing!

Krista & Todd’s wedding was no exception to this! It was 70°, sunny and slightly breezy. It was such a great day! Not to mention, Pin High Farm is so pretty. There were so many awesome places for photos, it was hard to choose where to go first!

Krista had a first look with her bridesmaids, as well as her dad. Father daughter first looks are seriously my favorite thing. I think Krista’s dad had the most sweet reaction I’ve seen yet. It was such a sweet moment. I know a lot of photographers encourage their brides to do a first look with their fiancé, but this isn’t something I push, because I know when I got married, I was determined not to do a first look with Aaron. There are a TON of benefits to first looks, however I don’t want to push something I wouldn’t have done. One thing I wish I did do was a first look with my dad. I first met my dad after getting dressed in the hall of the church right before walking down the aisle. I remember him taking my arm, getting ready to give away his last daughter. To this day, I wish I had more time to spend with my dad before my ceremony started.

They had CONFETTI CANONS when they kissed! What!? How sweet is that!?

So much about Krista & Todd’s wedding day was just so unique and so perfect. I’m late posting this blog because honestly, I started out with 100 photos to share with y’all. ONE HUNDRED! If you don’t know, that’s a lot of photos for a blog post! It took me days to narrow down the photos! There’s still a ton, but I hope you enjoy them!
