Another family wedding has come and gone in 2020!
I was so excited for Alayna and Isaac’s wedding! If you remember their engagement session in early spring, I mentioned that Alayna and I are really close in age, so she was one of my first “friends” as a kid. I remember so many sleepovers and I have so many amazing memories with her.
This wedding was so special. All of our aunts and uncles were in town, and our family was able to spend some time together for the first time in a little while.
We were back at the Delphos K of C this time around! I’ve shot a couple weddings here, and it’s so crazy how this venue always seems to look different, and it’s always beautiful!
For the ceremony, Alayna and Isaac got married at Zion Christian Union Parsonage in Grover Hill. This was the church Isaac’s family attended. It’s a little brick church in the middle of a bunch of fields. Don’t get me wrong, we love living in Dayton, but driving down stone roads with fields on both sides just feels like home. It makes me so happy to be sneezing as soon as I get out of my car.
After the ceremony, we went to this beautiful barn nearby (with permission from the owner) and we shot some of my absolute favorite portraits. This bridal party was probably one of the best bridal parties I’ve worked with. They were all willing to walk through tall grass in heels, and pick burrs off their dresses and suits when we got out.
We headed to the K of C and had such an amazing night at the reception! It was so fun!
And seriously, take a look at these photos, because I have all the heart-eyes over them!
