I’ve done a couple bridal sessions this year and they’re so much fun! It’s the best part of a wedding day without the pressure of a timeline!
Kasey and Isaiah booked me for their Christmas-time wedding, and I was so excited! I love winter weddings. Unfortunately, Covid struck again. Luckily, these two were able to get married anyway, and had an adorable home ceremony! They wanted to get portraits afterward and I’m so happy they were able to.
We started at their home church at this cute chapel. Kasey and Isaiah wrote new letters and started their session by reading them to each other. I love it when couples write letters to each other, and what a sweet way to start out a bridal session! I feel like that brings back all of those feelings from your wedding day!
I’ve mentioned how much I love tall grasses for photos. These are some of my most favorite photos! I even had one printed to hang in my office because I loved it so much! These two were definitely troopers walking through that grass!
Our second location was the Greenville City Park. I’ve never been to this park, but it was such a nice park! Also, this is a little unrelated, however, they had peacocks at this park! One thing that not a lot of people know about me is that my family had peacocks when I was growing up so the sounds were super nostalgic haha!
Anyway, the light in this park was sooooo dreamy! It’s so hard to find amazing light in the spring, but we found it! It was a gorgeous evening. I could of shot here so much longer. This was one of my first sessions after winter and it goes into my books as one of my absolute favorites!
